What is hypertufa, you might ask? Hypertufa a type of artificial stone that is relatively lightweight compared to stone or concrete. If properly cured, it is freeze proof, no matter how cold your winter temperature may get. It was first created in the mid 1900's by mixing sand, peat, various volcanic aggregates and cement.
